Nicole Kidman will star in Osgood Perkins ’ next horror film, The Young People !

According to Deadline , the filmmaker will write and direct the project as part of his first-look deal with Neon, which has released his previous films The Monkey , Longlegs and the upcoming Keeper .

Nicole is one of several names in the ensemble, which also includes Lola Tung , Nico Parker , Tatiana Maslany , Brendan Hines , Heather Graham , Johnny Knoxville , Cush Jumbo , Lexi Minetree , and Lily Collias .

Plot specifics are being kept under wraps, but Deadline notes that reports have suggested “that the film centers on a couple of school friends, one of whom starts to develop red flag behavior.”

The film is set for a 2026 theatrical release.
