Nile Ranger has started a brand new career alongside playing in the eighth tier of English football.

The former Premier League bad boy signed for Wellingborough Town in October, days after being let go by Kettering Town.

He was the Southern League Premier Central's joint-top goalscorer at Kettering, but he was mysteriously axed by the club.

It meant he made the move to Wellingborough - and alongside playing for a new team, he's beginning a new career venture.

Ranger has revealed that he is running a north London-based football academy, and is also planning to start a podcast.

“I’m keeping fit, staying fit, and I’ve got my academy project I’m working on," he told The Sun.

"I’m starting a podcast soon, and I just want to mentor kids.
