CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — It might be November, but snow has already fallen across East Tennessee and in Cumberland County. That meant Crossville kids had one day to do whatever they want.
"We have tryouts. They're supposed to be today, but then school canceled. They're canceled and firstly, I'm not that good, so I'm just trying to get a little better before tryouts so I don't get kicked off," said Levi Conklin, a freshman at Cumberland County High School.
"I gotta play goalkeeper and that's -- usually get dogged on if you miss anything. So I just got to practice," said Conklin
Conklin took advantage of his day off to practice for soccer tryouts with his friend, and fellow CCHS student, Gabriel Koko.
