A roundabout is proposed to be built on Highway 303 just east of the Central Valley Road overpass near Silverdale, as part of the state's project to remove barriers to fish migration.

The Washington State Department of Transportation is planning to build a new roundabout on Highway 303, also known as Waaga Way at the overpass to Central Valley Road and is seeking public comment on the plan in a meeting on Nov. 13. The proposal as currently shown would eliminate an exits from the westbound highway that is used to access Central Valley Road, which crosses over Hoot Creek, and use the roundabout for access instead.
