DETROIT — The Detroit Pistons are bringing back a familiar face as one of their two-way players.
The Pistons announced Monday evening they signed Wendell Moore Jr. to a two-way deal, reuniting with the former first-round pick.
“His professionalism, his skill set, his personality, his willingness to work. He was a guy that we felt could help us (last season), we just ran out of minutes,” coach J.B. Bickerstaff said Monday. “It was a great opportunity to get him back, he knows the system, he’s familiar with what we do and hopefully, if needed, he can go out and contribute.”
Moore made 20 appearances for the Pistons last season after being acquired in a trade that sent the 53rd overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft to the Minnesota Timberwolves in exchange for Moore and the 37th overall pick,
