HAILEY, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — A judge sentenced a former medical worker to prison after sexually assaulting a patient at a Wood River Valley hospital.

Corbin Lewis, 30, will serve a 20-year unified sentence after pleading guilty in an agreement to one felony count of forcible penetration by use of a foreign object, according to court minutes. He will serve five years fixed and 15 years indeterminate.

An affidavit from the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office stated that Lewis was a paramedic for the emergency department at St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center. He confessed to deputies that he sexually assaulted a patient in October 2024 after they read him his Miranda rights.

The court will retain jurisdiction for one year, and probation terms will be set later if Lewis completes a successf
