On the eve of the second phase of voting in Bihar, senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad said the Opposition Mahagathbandhan had already admitted defeat and the NDA was moving towards a “historic victory”.
The BJP Lok Sabha MP targeted RJD leader Tejashwai Yadav, saying he had, in desperation, addressed a press conference during the “silence period” which follows the end of campaigning.
“Naturally, campaigning has ended, but today, in a display of desperation, Tejashwi Yadav addressed a press conference. He listed his schemes and then went on to accuse the Chief Minister’s Office of planning to have opposition members arrested. This clearly shows that Tejashwi Yadav has mentally surrendered,” Prasad said. He also called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a political tourist.
