SEATTLE - The eight-point lead Bruce Harrell had over Katie Wilson on Nov. 4 , has disappeared in the race to be Seattle's next mayor .
As of Monday afternoon, King County Elections showed Wilson with 49.83% of the vote while Harrell had 49.79% of the vote. Wilson led by just 91 votes.
Seattle has 505,393 registered voters and as of 4:00 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, 272,041 ballots had been counted.
The backstory:
On election night, the incumbent Harrell led Wilson by around 7.14%. The day after, Harrell gained another point to take an eight-point lead.
Harrell is looking to keep his seat as mayor of Seattle, following a second-place finish in the August primary election behind Wilson.
While Harrell had the early lead, FOX 13 Seattle Political Analyst Sandeep Kaushik said last week
