MARSHALL, Texas (KTAL/KMSS) — The Michelson Museum of Art will debut a new exhibit, 'Queens, Crowns, Costumes, & Couture - Texas Style with a public reception on November 13, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The display will showcase the artistry and tradition of Texas festivals, as well as the creativity of Texas designers, through gowns, royal robes, accessories, and fashion pieces.
The show features pieces from the East Texas Yamboree, Fiesta San Antonio courtesy of the Witte Museum, the Texas Rose Festival, and the Society of Martha Washington.
It also features couture designs from the Texas Fashion Collection at the University of North Texas and private collections featuring famous designers such as Page Boy, Jacob A. Climer, Victor Costa, Michael Faircloth, Tom Ford, Holly Harp, Vickie
