COLUMBUS, Ohio — A large fight involving what witnesses say were dozens of teenagers broke out inside Easton Town Center over the weekend, sparking new concerns about safety ahead of the busy holiday shopping season.

Columbus police said the fight started around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Special duty officers responded, but no arrests were made.

Leonard Love told 10TV he was meeting a business client in the food court when chaos erupted.

“As I was talking to my client, I saw youth start running past me,” Love said. “All I could see was a melee, young girls fighting first, then the boys. Everyone started panicking.”
