STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Retired firefighter Kevin T. Reilly, who served with the New York City Fire Department during the World Trade Center rescue and recovery efforts on 9/11, died Friday, Nov. 7, at his Staten Island home. He was 67.

Born and raised on Staten Island, Reilly spent his life deeply connected to the same close-knit community that shaped him. A graduate of Tottenville High School’s Class of 1976, he joined the FDNY in 1983, serving first with Ladder 169 in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, and later with Rescue 5 in Concord, according to his obituary .
