Voting for the second and final phase of the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 is underway today. Polling will start at 7 am at all booths across 122 seats in 20 districts. A total of 1,302 candidates are contesting in this phase, including 12 ministers from the Bihar government.
For the elections, 45,399 polling booths have been set up, of which 4,109 have been declared sensitive. Voting at sensitive booths will continue until 5 pm, while at other booths it will go on until 6 pm. The results are scheduled to be announced on November 14.
In this phase, 3.7 crore voters across the state will decide the fate of the candidates. Meanwhile, security along the India-Nepal border has been tightened, and the border has been sealed until the night of November 11 in view of the elections.
