HEBRON, Ky. —

The word "canceled" is becoming increasingly common on the screens showing arrivals and departures at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).

Rose Zix, a traveler from Harrison, expressed her frustration, saying, "It is frustrating." Zix and her family recently returned to Cincinnati after flying to Houston for a family gathering. She noted that today's travels were smooth because they discovered on Friday that their flight for today was canceled. Advertisement

"Today was great. However, the only reason I think it was so great was because on Friday, we found out that our flight for today was canceled," Zix said.

During a layover in Nashville, Zix experienced repeated flight delays, which she used as an opportunity to find another return flight.
