MAQUOKETA, Iowa (KWQC) - Maquoketa Schools will increase the police presence at the high school after a threat was made Monday.

A student told a staff member at Maquoketa High School about a video that showed a possible threat towards another student after school, according to a media release .

District officials said they immediately reported the concern to the Maquoketa Police Department.

Officials said the threat appears to be an isolated incident at this time.

The district will increase the police presence at the high school on Tuesday out of an abundance of caution, officials said.
