Marine veteran John Deaton is running for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts again, after winning the 2024 Republican primary and losing to Sen. Elizabeth Warren in the general election.

Deaton launched his campaign at a bar in Worcester Monday night. He emphasized his military background and his experience as a business owner.

"I've lived the challenges many Massachusetts families face," Deaton said in a statement. "I grew up with nothing, worked my way through the Marines, earned my degree, and built a business from the ground up. I know what it means to fight through obstacles and get results. That is what's missing in Washington, and that is why I'm running."
