New Delhi, Nov 11: Urban Invest Window (UiWIN), initiated by HUDCO under the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, aims to address the challenges faced by Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in India amid rapid urbanization.
With projections of over 60 Crore Indians living in cities by 2036, significant infrastructure investments are necessary. UiWIN facilitates improved investment opportunities, including private-public partnerships and competitive financing from multilateral organizations like the World Bank and ADB.
Through a Hub and Spoke model using HUDCO’s regional offices, the initiative will assist in project identification, financial structuring, and implementation, fostering a pipeline of investable urban projects.
