Suniel Shetty , who has acted in around 100 movies in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, recalled his connection with Namma Bengaluru. Shetty was in the city for the trailer launch of Jai, a movie made in Tulu and Kannada, by director Roopesh Shetty of Bigg Boss fame.

“I am from Karnataka. I visit Bengaluru frequently because my sister and relatives live here. I have sweet memories of the city. I was very close to Dr Rajkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar . Kichcha Sudeep is my dearest friend. I have been working in Maharashtra and it is my karmabhoomi and my janmabhoomi is Mulki in Karnataka,” said Suniel Shetty.
