A Lake Elsinore man has turned himself in to authorities in connection to a fatal shooting on Saturday in Lake Elsinore, officials announced.
Ian Wentz, 47, turned himself into Riverside County Sheriff’s Department officials on Sunday, Nov. 9 and was booked into a local jail on suspicion of murder, according to a sheriff’s news release.
Garrett Pickering, a 34-year-old Lake Elsinore resident, was shot on Saturday, Nov. 8 at around 8:41 p.m. on the 2000 block of East Lakeshore Drive in Lake Elsinore, according to the news release. He died at the scene.
