ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – People near Kirtland Air Force Base may hear a loud noise or see smoke or dust on Tuesday. Sandia National Laboratories will conduct a rocket sled test from 11 a.m. to noon on the south end of the base. Dates and times may change if the weather is bad.

Sandia National says the test will comply with all applicable environmental regulations.
