ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —
Bigfoot himself couldn't make it to his inaugural bash in the Duke City, but his fans had no problem being seen at this fundraiser for the YMCA of Central New Mexico.
This was no silly costume party; rather, a gathering of true believers and the truly curious, who would hear about what is known and see evidence such as plaster casts said to be of Bigfoot's feet and hair used in a scientific investigation of Bigfoot's authenticity.
Robert Kryger is a well-informed enthusiast who came to give a presentation that he said had an academic pedigree.
"The presentation being made at this event will be at a university study level, instead of conjecture or disbelief," Kryger said.
