Nighttime drivers who plan to use the Pacific Coast Highway this week may want to make alternative plans.

Caltrans said there will be overnight lane closures near Corral Canyon Road in Malibu for drainage work from Wednesday to Friday.

During the closure, PCH will go down to one lane in each direction from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night, Caltrans announced. Residents and businesses in the impacted area may experience noise and vibrations due to the work, the agency warned.
