CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (KKTV) - No injuries have been reported after a small plane crashed on a road in Castle Rock Monday night.
The Castle Rock Police Department (CRPD) said officers responded alongside Castle Rock firefighters to the scene of the crash.
Police said the crash occurred just before 6:15 p.m. near Wolfensberger Road and Prairie Hawk Drive, just west of I-25.
According to our sister station CBS Colorado , the plane had made an emergency landing.
No injuries have been reported.
Prairie Hawk Drive was temporarily closed from Wolfensberger to Switch Grass Drive while responders were on scene. The road reopened by 8:36 p.m.
As of the time of this writing, there is no word as to what exactly caused the crash.
