A piebald deer was spotted walking around a South Central Pennsylvania apartment complex over the weekend.
Gretchen Ann Rothermel snapped a photo of the piebald deer in Berks County, Pennsylvania, and shared it with sister station WGAL.
"I was looking out my front window at my apartment complex and I saw this unusual animal prancing by. At first glance, I thought it was a dog, but this one had antlers. I never saw a deer like this before," Rothermel wrote in an email.

What is a piebald deer?
Piebald deer are born with a genetic condition that gives them patches of white hair mixed in with their normal brown hair. Some piebald deer may only have small patches of white, while others might be nearly entirely white.
