The New York Mets will likely be in the market for help with their starting rotation this offseason, but could they trade one of their starters in the process?

The Mets had a disappointing season, to say the least. Despite boasting one of the highest payrolls in baseball, New York failed to reach the postseason, closing out the regular season with an 83-79 record. The Mets' starting rotation struggled this season, with third-year pitcher Kodai Senga struggling enough to get optioned to Triple-A Syracuse in September.

Senga fell apart in the second half of the season for New York. Though Senga was sent down to Triple-A, the 32-year-old still posted a 3.02 ERA with 109 strikeouts in 22 starts after missing almost all of the 2024 season due to injury. New York may be looking to add a pitche
