Carolyn Hax: Still forced to parent a ‘man-child’ ex so he shows up for the kids

Dear Carolyn: I divorced my husband when I realized that I was essentially a single mom with a man-child. We’ve been divorced a few years now, and our two sons are growing up, getting involved in things, and they want us both there for events. There are also parent-teacher conferences, doctor’s appointments, etc.
