Police have arrested the alleged gunman who executed a plumber in a suspected case of mistaken identity, days after charging his alleged drivers.
John Versace, 23, was shot dead in the driveway of his Condell Park home in Sydney's southwest on May 19, with no signs he had links to criminal activity.
Police on Tuesday charged a 21-year-old man with his murder, alleging he was the gunman.
"He has appraised Mr Versace in the driveway ... and fired multiple shots from a pistol, which proved fatal," Detective Superintendent Jason Box told reporters on Tuesday.
It comes almost a week after two alleged getaway drivers, aged 43 and 19, were also charged with murder.
