CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - The Notre Dame Soccer team beat Poplar Bluff 3-1 Monday night at Cape Central High School to claim the Class 3 District 1 Championship.

Notre Dame’s Clark Summers and Trenton Powell scored goals late in the 2nd half to help the Bulldogs secure the victory over the Mules.

Next up, Notre Dame will host Rockwood Summit in the State Quarterfinals, Saturday, November 15.
