Lakers' Luka Doncic's historic point guard feat proves Mavericks made worse trade in NBA history
When a franchise is fortunate enough to have a generational point guard at their disposal, it should trade them under any circumstances.
Somehow, the Dallas Mavericks didn’t get the memo, as the 2011 NBA champions traded him to the Los Angeles Lakers in February for arguably the most injury-prone center in the league (Anthony Davis).
While it was already well-documented that the Mavericks completed the worst trade in NBA history, Doncic’s recent historic point guard feat as a member of the Lakers further supports the claim.
“Luka Doncic has the most 30/5/5 games by a point guard since 1965,” Real Sports wrote on X/Twitter after the Lakers’ 121-111 Monday night
