Princess Anne's four-day tour of Australia is drawing to a close in Brisbane, where the Princess Royal laid a wreath on Remembrance Day and met with serving defence personnel.

Her Australian visit coincides with the 100th anniversary of the Royal Australian Corps of Signals, of which she is the colonel-in-chief.

It also coincides with intense scrutiny of the royal family sparked by her brother King Charles's decision to strip former prince Andrew Mountbatten Windsor of his titles.

Accompanied by her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence, on her first trip to Australia since 2022, she landed in Brisbane at about midday on Tuesday afternoon, before travelling to the barracks.
