Srinagar, Nov 10: Once an unfamiliar name in Jammu & Kashmir’s sports circles, pickleball has rapidly evolved into one of the region’s most promising new sports.

As per a statement issued on Monday, from just one court a few years ago to multiple active venues today, pickleball’s rise in Jammu & Kashmir has been phenomenal.

Driven by the passion and leadership of J&K Pickleball Association President Farid Singh and Secretary Viraj Singh, what began as a small local effort has now become a dynamic movement, inspiring youth participation, building new infrastructure, and uniting communities across the Union Territory.
