As Brad Schumacher jumped into the car for his last stint behind the wheel on Sunday, he was set for the biggest drive of his career.
Behind the wheel for the Melbourne Performance Centre team, his co-driver and current Supercars leader Broc Feeney swapped out with their Audi R8 running in fourth in the final GT World Challenge Australia race of 2025.
A win was a must.
No other result would secure the duo an unlikely championship.
And a win was what they got, as Schumacher snagged first place in the final race of the season in New Zealand, the second of two races the co-drivers won on the weekend.
He described it as his proudest moment in his motor racing career.
