According to the IMD, cold wave conditions are likely to prevail in isolated pockets of Jharsuguda, Kandhamal, and Sundargarh districts, with temperatures expected to drop significantly.
Residents of these areas are advised to take necessary precautions to stay warm and avoid seasonal illnesses.
The IMD has also predicted a further dip in temperature, with minimum temperatures expected to fall by 2-3°C over the next two to three days.
