As more details emerge regarding the Delhi Red Fort Blast, the CCTV visuals show the Hyundai i20, which is suspected to have exploded, staying still in the parking lot for three hours immediately before the explosion.
According to reports, the vehicle entered the parking area adjacent to the mosque at 3.19 pm, remaining there until 6.48 pm on Monday. The driver of the vehicle, suspected to be Dr Mohammed Umar, linked to the Faridabad terror module, did not alight from the vehicle for all three hours. He left the spot before 7 pm, and within minutes, an explosion tore through the traffic signal at Subhash Marg near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station.
