TENNESSEE (WDEF) – We got flurries, but higher elevations in East Tennessee got a big more on Monday.
Cliff Henderson snapped these photos while hiking along Carver’s Gap near Bristol.
The top of the mountains above Gatlinburg were also white on Monday.
The Park system closed US 441/Newfound Gap Road and Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail because of snow and ice.
They got several inches of snow on top, with more predicted for Tuesday.
We have a winter weather advisory for possible snow fall above 2000 feet in our northwest Georgia mountains on Tuesday.
