A truck carrying LPG cylinders caught fire on Tuesday morning near Varanavasi in Ariyalur, Tamil Nadu, causing multiple explosions that shook the surrounding area.

The truck, traveling from Tiruchirappalli to Ariyalur, reportedly lost balance while taking a turn at high speed and overturned, triggering the fire.

The truck driver sustained injuries and has been admitted to Ariyalur Medical College Hospital. Several cylinders were thrown far from the site due to the explosions.

Firefighters arrived promptly, and it took several hours to bring the blaze under control. The truck was completely destroyed in the incident.
