New Delhi, Nov 12: In a major breakthrough, Haryana police arrested two individuals and recovered 50–60 kilograms of explosives during raids in Sector 56, Faridabad, officials confirmed on Tuesday.

The operation comes a day after a car blast near Gate No.1 of Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, which claimed eight lives and injured several others. The vehicle involved was a Haryana-registered Hyundai i20.

The Crime Branch led the Faridabad raids, seizing a substantial quantity of explosives and apprehending two suspects.
