What wasn’t as certain was if Sutton, the 2024 Summit Player of the Year, would be able to drastically improve his 3-point shot after making only 27.7% last year.
Already in his second outing as a Tiger, Sutton had his best 3-point shooting game of his career, scoring 15 points and making 4 of 8 from the arc. The most 3s he made in a single game previously was three.
Through two games, Sutton is 6 of 14 from 3, leading the team in both makes and attempts.
