With enough Democrat support, Senate approves funding package to end government shutdown

Eight Democratic Senators, including Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman, joined their Republican colleagues in voting to pass a funding package that would end the government shutdown. The legislation now heads to the House for approval.
