A major crash closed Highway 175 in Dallas on Tuesday morning, causing major delays.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the crash happened around 3 a.m. A tanker truck crashed into a power pole on Highway 175 near Loop 12, also knocking out power in the area.

A CBS News Texas crew at the scene showed a large power pole blocking the road.

Both directions of Highway 175 were closed for several hours. By the end of the morning rush hour, the highway reopened.

TxDOT has not shared the condition of the truck driver.
