HATTIESBURG, Miss. (WDAM) - All 12 University of Southern Mississippi women’s basketball players who touched the court at Reed Green Coliseum scored Monday night as the Lady Eagles routed an overmatched Blue Mountain Christian College, 113-39.
Six Lady Eagles finished in double figures as USM (3-0) picked up a win against a second, consecutive foe who treated the game as an exhibition.
USM shot 63.9 percent from the floor, made half of its 16, 3-point attempts and scored 41 points in the third-quarter alone after leading 54-15 at halftime.
Blue Mountain (4-1) shot 25.4 percent from the field, scored less than 10 points in each of the first, two quarters and made it to the free-throw line a mere four times, though it made all four of its attempts.
