Millions of fans adore the lives and films of their favourite stars, some so passionately that they’re willing to give up everything for them. Among such devoted admirers is Pankaj, a 21-year-old from Kheri village near Meham in Haryana’s Rohtak district, whose love for Akshay Kumar drove him to do something extraordinary.

A skilled denter at an automobile service centre in Rohtak, Pankaj quit his job and spent five months building a luxury car resembling a Rolls-Royce entirely by hand as a gift for his idol. He borrowed Rs 4 lakh, collected spare parts from Rohtak, Delhi, Bhiwani and Hisar, and poured his heart into the project.

Though his father initially disapproved, he later lent support, helping fund the dream.

By October, the car was complete. Overjoyed, P
