CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – A re-opening date has been set for the Publix on Daniel Island.

Public Super Market closed the Daniel Island store in December 2024 so that it could undergo an extensive renovation and expansion.

At the time, store officials said the location would double in size, expanding from 29,030 square feet to 50,472 square feet, while also incorporating Lowcountry-inspired elements in the redesign.

As the refurbishment project wraps up, Publix has announced that the store located at Daniel Island Town Center (162 Seven Farms Drive) will re-open for customers on the morning of Wednesday, Dec. 3.
