U.S. Senator Katie Britt, R-Ala., joined Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kan., and Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., in introducing the Better Food Disclosure Act (The Better FDA), legislation that would seek to improve the Food and Drug Administration’s, FDA, oversight of ingredient disclosures and reviews, and require food companies to report the ingredients they put in the food supply to the agency. This legislation is in response to state-led efforts to strengthen the nation’s food safety standards.
