Eight Senate Democrats, including New Hampshire Sens. Maggie Hassan and Jeanne Shaheen and Maine Sen. Angus King, joined Republicans in voting for a bill to end shutdown.

The U.S. Senate approved a deal on Nov. 11 to end the longest-ever government shutdown , meaning the government could reopen as soon as this week.
In a 60-40 vote , the Senate signed off on a bipartisan deal brokered by Democratic New Hampshire Sens. Jeanne Shaheen and Maggie Hassan to reopen the government through Jan. 30. It was supported by six other moderate Democrats to get it over the finish line.
