An award has just been named after the man who has redefined European golf greatness. Rory McIlroy. Officials unveiled the Rory McIlroy award at the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. Earlier this year, McIlroy etched his name in history as Europe’s first-ever winner of the Career Grand Slam. And what can be a better time to honor the Northern Irish icon!

Starting with the 2026 season, the award will crown the DP World Tour member who delivers the most dominant performance across the four Majors, which would be measured through Race to Dubai points.
