LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The largest Veterans Day parade west of the Mississippi will kick off Tuesday morning to honor service members around the valley.
According to the Veterans Action Group, the annual downtown Las Vegas parade will begin at 4th Street and Garces Avenue around 10 a.m., and end at 4th and Stewart Avenue. A flyover will also signal the start of the parade at 10 a.m.
Active duty service members, first responders, and veterans groups will be among the many participating in the parade.
3rd street will be closed between Charleston Boulevard and Garces Avenue to 4th street between Charleston and Steward Avenue from 7 a.m. until noon.
