A man has been hospitalised after a two car smash at the height of rush hour on a busy Coventry road. Emergency services were called to Fletchamstead Highway before 9am on Tuesday (11 November).
A driver was treated at the scene before being ferried to the nearest hospital - his injuries are not life threatening.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called to the junction of Burnsall Road and Fletchamstead Highway, Coventry at 8.49am to reports of a two vehicle road traffic collision.
"One ambulance attended the scene. The crew treated one driver, a man, who had sustained injuries not believed to be serious before conveying him to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further care."
