The People’s Alliance for Peace in Manipur (PAPPM) has urged the Election Commission of India (ECI) to undertake an urgent Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll in Manipur.
In a letter addressed to ECI Chief Gyanesh Kumar, PAPPM highlighted the need for immediate intervention, adopting 1st January 1961 as the cut-off date to uphold democratic integrity, the rule of law, and to protect indigenous rights in the state.
