It's getting closer and closer to fantasy football playoffs, and trading for impact starters will be on the forefront of many minds as lineups get closer scrutiny and league trade deadlines approach.

Also, perhaps some underperforming players could still entice other fantasy managers around your leagues for late-season trades.

MORE FANTASY FOOTBALL: Let's help you with waiver wire decisions for Week 11

We've looked around the NFL and picked out five players to key in on for trades, either for your team or for one of your opponents. As you try to shore up those lineups, perhaps consider one of these guys via trade. And if you need a little more analysis, well, Christian D'Andrea and Mike "Rhode Island Scumbag" Boyadjian have you covered with their weekly waiver ladders segment.

While none of these ideas are guarantees to work, perhaps they'll work out for you in crunch time?

WR A.J. Brown, Philadelphia Eagles: Trade for

Brown has only eclipsed 100 yards in two games this season and only has hauled in three touchdowns. His stats are brutal, but buying low on Brown as he gets healthy might be a brilliant move for your team. Frustrated fantasy managers who haven't gotten much out of Brown this season might be willing to part ways with the Eagles receiver for minimal return. If Brown gets it going, which is entirely plausible, he might be a steal as a flex starter.

QB Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers: Trade away

Love just isn't putting up the gaudy stats that make him a high-end starter for your fantasy team, and you might be able to trade him away before your deadlines. Love is still a brand name for fantasy managers, and the optimism might still persist that he finds more success down the stretch. However, he's not reliable on a week-to-week basis to light up the score sheet. If you can find a buyer and add a guy like Jacoby Brissett off waivers, do it.

RB Tyrone Tracy Jr., New York Giants: Trade for

With coach Brian Daboll out in New York, expect interim Giants coach Mike Kafka to run the ball a good bit to protect the health of first-year quarterback Jaxson Dart. Tracy is the more explosive option in the New York backfield after Cam Skattebo's season-ending injury. He's likely to see his workload increase in the coming weeks. He's the kind of guy who could explode just in terms of pure production late in the season as it gets colder and teams run the ball more. Plus, the Giants can't risk Dart slinging it too much and imperil his long-term health. Tracy carries a lot of value.

RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Washington Commanders: Trade away

With 470 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games, Croskey-Merritt hasn't lived up to the fantasy hype he entered his rookie season with in Washington. With quarterback Marcus Mariota taking over for an injured Jayden Daniels, expect the Commanders to use Mariota's legs more and more with his shaky passing (and the limited quality targets in the Washington offense at present). Croskey-Merritt is still a "brand name" because of the hype, so you might be able to swindle one of your fellow fantasy managers who still believes in his 2024 prospects. Word to the wise: The rookie hasn't rushed for more than 100 yards since Oct. 5. The offensive line is struggling, too. A trade is smart.

WR Rashid Shaheed, Seattle Seahawks: Trade for

Shaheed is still getting acclimated to his new home in Seattle, but expect his explosive abilities to fit in seamlessly with the Seahawks' offense more and more as the season goes on. Quarterback Sam Darnold does well to create explosive plays in Klint Kubiak's offense, and Shaheed should feast as he develops more of a rapport in the passing game. While fantasy managers might be hesitant to let Shaheed go, perhaps a quiet first game could inspire a move.
