KILLEEN, Texas — Kenndi Jackson, Contestant No. 4, was crowned Miss Junior Old Gold and Black Scholarship Pageant winner by the Kappa Sigma Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

Jackson competed against six other contestants in the second annual scholarship pageant.

The event featured a Harker Heights High School student as the emcee, while Dr. King Davis, Killeen ISD’s lone finalist for superintendent, served as one of the judges.

Members of the Alpha Esquires assisted throughout the evening, greeting guests and guiding contestants during the competition.
